“The show must go on” is a phrase in show business, meaning that regardless of what happens, whatever show has been planned still has to be staged for the waiting patrons.
Eventually, the phrase was used to convey the idea that an event or activity must continue even if there are problems or difficulties, with or without regard to actual show business.
Well today the tennis camp,”went on!” Thank you to all the kids who braved the drizzle and worked on volleys, overheads, serves and more! While we didn’t do anything too vigorous or dangerous, we were able to do more than we expected.
And if that wasn’t enough, Kenyon (9 years old) beat Nevin (19 years old) at a game of Mini tennis! In the rain of course. Great fun on a rainy day. So what else did we learn today? Never say never and where there is one who wants to play tennis in the rain play there are two, four, eight and more! Anyway, come and join the fun as the forecast calls for plenty of sunshine for this week and the next as we continue to work on becoming champions!
